- 4 pounds ground beef or brisket
- 1 large sweet onion, chopped
- 2 medium poblano peppers, chopped
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon chipotle chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ancho chili powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 14- ounce cans tomato sauce
- 3 14- ounce cans fire-roasted diced tomatoes, do not drain
- 1/2 cup worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup Heinz 57 sauce
- kosher salt & freshly ground black pepper, season it well!!
- Corn meal to taste as thickening agent
Brown beef in sautee pan. Combine other ingredients in a large soup pot. Then add in browned beef. Simmer for one hour. ENJOY!
